Circle Shade-A-Rella, plant shade, Adjustable Plant Umbrella, Choose your size

Bought these because of the extreme heat and assembled the 2 that I ordered. Unfortunately, the small screws that keep the umbrella from moving around didn't work. It did work on one of them, however, on the second one it did not. When there's a breeze the shade move around. I haven't been able to return it as of yet. They do provide very good shade for a fern that doesn't like the direct sunlight. I do like that it also blends in with the plants and the wood fencing and looks attractive.

I have now purchased three of these Shade-a- Rella. Glad I did. They protect my tender herbs from the harsh southern exposure afternoon summer sunshine. Very well built and sturdy. Well worth it!

The shade created will save a hydrangea that was suffering from too many 90 degree full sun days. I'm using all 4 but will enjoy the flexibility of using less when the weather returns to more typical summer temperatures.

I ordered two of the 12 inch and while they are helpful I believe the 18 inch would be a better choice. The 12 inch is lifted to high into the air to provide shade for the plant beneath it. Maybe next year I’ll buy the 18 inch. Living in the desert makes adding partial shade for plants a necessity for optimal growth.
